Breathable, watertight and wind-tight - these are the most important benefits of Platilon® M, our highly water vapor impermeable membrane films. Membrane films have a closed polymer structure without any micropores. Due to its hydrophilic properties, the film absorbs humidity, transports water vapor molecules through the film and releases them to the exterior environment with lower conditions (temperature, humidity).

Processing

While Platilon® M can be processed with most frequently used lamination technologies, optimum results in terms of adhesion, washing stability and cleaning stability are achieved when using liquid-crosslinking hot-melt adhesives on screen print, melt print or spraying systems. Compounds produced by means of foam-coating technologies also have good adhesive and softness properties.
