We have committed ourselves to high standards in terms of quality, safety and protection of our enviroment. In order to maintain this high level on a continuous basis, we have introduced a management system for quality and enviromental protection which is subject to periodical audits held by external certification company. As a result, Epurex has been certified according to DIN ISO 9001:2008. According to current Bayer standards, we have also committed ourselves to implement the Responsible Care Philosophy for environmental protection and safety as suggested by the chemical industry.

The work of the Epurex quality test lab directly supports our production. Sample are taken from production 24 hours per day, tested according to the latest standards and finally approved. Additional analyses are made in our R & D lab. Detailed test plans with predefined criteria, number, frequency and stations of test are used to ensure a continuously high product quality from reception inspection right through to product dispatch.

Quality is by no means an end in itself because requirements keep rising. Automotive and medical customers use periodical audits to evaluate aspects such as production processes, delivery reliability, promptness and quality assurance. We certainly owe it to our employees that we are able to successfully undergo our customer´s scrutiny and to even exceed their expectations.
